Thanks to your unique skills, you can work together to stop the spread of diseases in Europe. During your turn, you perform various actions, try to treat the diseases and discover cures. If you have discovered the cures for all 3 diseases, you win the game together Compared to the original Pandemic game, a Pandemic Hot Zone game contains the following differences Smaller box, board and cards There are only 3 diseases instead of 4. The number of cards you draw during the preparation is different. To discover a cure, 4 cards are needed instead of 5. There is only 1 research station in Geneva. You cannot build research stations or travel with a Shuttle. The deck only contains 3 Epidemic cards and these are all used during each game. Diseases cannot be eradicated. Some character traits have been slightly modified. Mutation cards can be added for extra challenge. But note that the different Pandemic Hot Zone games can be combined for a larger and more challenging game
